SIP Festival – Your Survival Guide 🍷

(Because nobody likes a boring FAQ page.)

The Basics (AKA "What Am I Getting Into?")

What exactly is SIP?

SIP is Toronto’s best wine and spirits festival. We're bringing together winemakers and distillers from around the world with trade professionals, and consumers so you can taste everything without the jet lag. Plus seminars for when you want to sound smart at dinner parties.

When and where is this happening?

April 23rd, 2026 at Table Food Hall located @ CIBC Square, 81 Bay St in Toronto

Who's this for?

If you can legally drink and have functioning taste buds, you're in. Whether you're a sommelier or someone who still says "the red wine, please," we've got you covered.

Getting In (Money Stuff & Logistics)

Where do I throw my money at you?

Tickets are online at [Ticket Link]. Pro tip: Buy early before we sell out and you're stuck watching everyone else's Instagram stories.

What does my ticket actually get me?

🍷 Unlimited tastings (yes, unlimited)

🍷 Access to all seminars (first come, first served, so don't be fashionably late)

🍷 Entry to the SIP Marketplace for impulse purchases you'll totally justify later

Can I just show up?

You can try buying at the door, but that's like hoping for good WiFi at a music festival. Just buy online.

Age requirements?

You need to be 19+ (or whatever the legal drinking age is where you live). Bring your ID or prepare for the walk of shame at the entrance.

The Fun Stuff (Drinking & Learning)

How does the tasting thing work?

Walk up to any booth, smile, and they'll pour you something delicious. Repeat until you've found your new favourite or until you've made questionable purchasing decisions.

Can I actually buy bottles?

Absolutely! The SIP Marketplace is basically a fancy liquor store where you can buy everything you just tasted. Your future self will thank you (or question your judgment).

Are those seminars actually worth it?

Yes, and they're included in your ticket! Learn why that wine costs $200 or how to make cocktails that don't taste like regret. Just show up early—good seats go fast.

Do I need to sign up for masterclasses?

Some of the fancy ones might need pre-registration. Check the schedule online so you don't miss out on the good stuff.

The Responsible Adult Section

Is this place accessible?

Yes! Wheelchair accessible venue, and if you need anything specific, hit us up at hello@siptoronto.com. We want everyone to have a good time.

About that whole "responsible drinking" thing...

Look, we're all adults here. Pace yourself, drink water (we've got stations everywhere), and have a plan to get home that doesn't involve your car keys. Your liver and your Uber driver will thank you.

For the Industry People

I make wine/spirits—how do I get in on this?

Love that! Check out our "Exhibit With Us" page for more details.

Is there a trade-only session?

Yep! Industry folks get their own networking session. You might need to prove you're legit trade, so bring your business card or whatever credentials you've got.

Still Have Questions?

I need to ask you something else
